The Hilda Community, Church, and Cemetery are located about 5 miles south of US Highway 87, down RR 783 then about 1/2 mile east off of Hwy 783.

The first burial in the cemetery was baby Emma Brandenberger in October of 1860. The Hilda Church and School building was constructed in 1862.
|
In 1979, the Hilda Methodist Cemetery Association, Inc. was formed and the association with the help of members and the community
continue to maintain the grounds.
